If you're following the modding scene, you most definitely know the name Justin "MetallicAcid" Ohlsen. During the past years he created quite a few astonishing mods and lately he finished his project "Origami", which is even more impressive then his earlier projects.
Project "Origami" is based on an already beautiful S-Frame case from InWin. If you're working with such a stunning looking case, you really have to think twice what you're going to change since chances are high that your mods won't make the product look better.
As it turned out Justin "MetallicAcid" Ohlsen chose a white/aluminum color scheme, which meant he had to repaint the case and he decided in favour of a white layer of powder coat. Apart from that he also had quite some work ahead regarding the two ASUS GTX 980 Ti Strix cards. By default those cards feature a black and red color scheme. Not that they're not beautiful right out of the box, but black and red wasn't what was going to make this mod look the way it does now. Therefore Justin went to the lengths and crafted custom white backplates with aluminum decorations.
What's almost expected when a modder comes up with such a high-end build, is a custom watercooling solution. Justin "MetallicAcid" Ohlsen decided to use parts from Bitspower and there are for instance two 360 millimeter radiators keeping all the components perfectly cool.
I could continue writing for ages but at this stage it's about time to have a look at some insanely beautiful pictures. Should you be interested in having a look at the entire worklog, then I recommend you to visit the following thread; linked to below.
