Many enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for ASUS to unveil its newest Sabertooth Z170-Sabranco motherboard and today, although not officially announced, the newest Sabranco has been pictured in full details.
Thankfully, ASUS has changed a few things compared to earlier Sabranco motherboards, as the Sabertooth Z170-S is not just the Sabertooth Z170 painted in white but comes with a completely new design and a new white and gray Camouflage design.
Although it lacks those RGB LEDs we seen earlier on the ASUS ROG Maxiums VIII Formula motherboard, it comes with a neat looking white and gray arctic color scheme.
It also comes with all the features and specification you would expect from a high-end Intel Z170-based motherboard, including an M.2 slot, two SATA-Express and plenty of SATA ports, three PCI-Express x16 3.0 slots, USB 3.1 and USB 3.1 Type-C ports and plenty more. Unfortunately, it appears to be missing a U.2 port.
According to details posted at Overclock3d.net, who managed to snatch quite a few pictures of the ASUS Sabertooth Z170-S motherboard, the new Sabranco motherboard will also have a more reasonable price compared to earlier Sabranco motherboards.
We will still wait for ASUS' official announcement which we expect soon since CES 2016 show has kicked off today.
