Fallout 4 has been around for a month or so and there are plenty of bugs around the game, but today, Bethesda has released the first big patch that should fix most issues in the game on the PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
The same patch, which brings the game to version 1.2, was available for PC users earlier this week but only in its beta form so it should be fully implemented now. According to the release notes, the new Fallout 4 v1.2 patch brings general memory and stability improvements, performance improvements inside the Corvega Assembly Plant and optimizations to skinned decal rendering.
When it comes to fixed issues, Fallout 4 v1.2 patch fixes issue with player becoming stuck in terminals, issue with equipped weapons becoming locked after completing Reunions, issue where player's health continuously regenerate during "Confidence Man", issue related to jumping int water and reloading saved games and issue where launched would not save God Rays Quality setting on the PC.
The new v1.2 patch also allows PC gamers to remap numpad keys and remapping Activate now works on Quick Container.
Although not mentioned in the release notes, the new patch also fixes an infinite caps bug, where you could get plenty of free caps from some vendors.
There are still plenty of bugs to be fixed which is understandable considering the size of Fallout 4 game but Bethesda has promised more updates in the coming months.
