AMD R9 Fury series prices go down by up to $100

AMD cuts prices across its range

It appears that AMD has decided to significantly cut graphics card prices and these are not limited to certain products but apparently include its entire Radeon R9 Fury series, including the R9 Nano as well as some products from the Radeon 300 series.

While we are still not sure if these price cuts will be limited to the holiday shopping season, Thanksgiving Black Friday and Cyber Monday or they are actually permanent price cuts, some graphics cards from AMD's lineup have been given a price cut which is as high as US $100.

While AMD's R9 Fury lineup is now finally widely available, the Radeon R9 Fury X, which launched at US $649, is now priced at US $589, or even US $569 after rebate. The Radeon R9 Fury also got a significant price cut from its original price of US $549, down to US $499. The Radeon R9 Nano got a major price cut from US $649 down to US $569, or even US $549 after rebate.

Some of the graphics cards from the Radeon R9 300 series also got a significant price cuts so Radeon R9 390X dropped from US $429 to $379 while the Radeon R9 390 dropped from US $329 down to US $279. The Radeon R9 380 also got a decent price cut so the 2GB version dropped from US $199 to $169 and even down to $139 after rebate, while the 4GB version dropped from US $225 down to $179, or $159 after rebate.

These price cuts were taken from Newegg.com and Amazon.com so it would wise to check your local retailer/e-tailer for same price cuts before buying any of these graphics cards. Hopefully, these are permanant price cuts as they do make AMD's lineup very competitive.
