MSI announces the new Cubi N mini-PC

Based on Intel Braswell platform

MSI has announced its newest "palm-sized" mini-PC based on Intel's 14nm Braswell SoC, the MSI Cubi N.

Packed in a 116x112x55.5mm, 0.45 liter, sized chassis, the new MSI Cubi N mini-PC is, according to MSI, the smallest mini-PC in its class. Based on Intel's 14nm Braswell Celeron N3150 quad-core CPU, clocked at 1.6GHz with 2.08GHz Turbo, with Intel Gen 8-LP GPU with 12 Execution Units (EUs), the new MSI Cubi N should provide plenty of performance for its size and 15W overall power consumption.

The rest of the specifications include 4GB of DDR3L memory, expandable to 8GB, one mSATA or 2.5-inch SSD/HDD with extension bay, Intel 3165 802.11ac WiFi and optional Bluetooth 4.0, 3-in-1 card reader, four USB 3.1 ports, HDMI and D-Sub video outputs.

The MSI Cubi N mini-PC will be coming with Windows 10 OS and has both 4K/UHD and VESA mount support, which makes it ideal for office or even home media entertainment usage.

Unfortunately, MSI did not reveal any details regarding the price but did note that the Cubi N will be available by the end of this month so we will hopefully see it on retail/e-tail shelves soon.
