Modding Project: ROG Wall PGA 2015

Malik Customs

At the Poznan Game Arena 2015, our friend and modder Lukasz from Malik Customs has created a new and a unique mod based on Haswell-refresh platform and water cooling gear from EK Water Blocks. What makes it quite impressive is that the system does not use a classic case, but it is rather hung on a vertical support.

The ROG Wall 2015, as Malik Customs decided to name it, uses a red and black color scheme that fits perfectly with the old ROG Z97 motherboard. On this platform the modder used an Intel Core i7-4790K CPU paired with a ASUS Maximus Formula VII and 16GB of Kingston Fury memory. Since the mod uses a liquid cooling system, he went for a ASUS GTX 980 Poseidon which was perfectly integrated in the loop made from the EK Water Blocks components.

The components are all well spaced on the large vertical support, in order to maintain a unique style and full display of all the individual details and components, Malik chose to use a riser on the video card and covered all PCI Express slots with a big plate that portrays the ROG logo.

Congratulations to Lukasz on yet another excellent project! Below you can find some pictures and our full album on Facebook.
