G.Skill Ripjaws 4 hits 4795.8MHz on Skylake platform

Breaks a few other records in the process

Following the launch of Intel's Skylake platform, G.Skill has announced that its Ripjaws 4 DDR4 memory managed to break a few overclocking records and has achieved a frequency of 4795.8MHz.

Running together with the Intel Core i7-6700K CPU on ASRock's Z170 OC Formula motherboard, G.Skill Ripjaws 4 DDR4 memory has hit rather incredible 2397.7MHz (4795.8MHz effective) in the hands of a well known overclocker Chi-Kui Lam.

The entire setup was cooled by plenty of LN2, and G.Skill was quite keen to brag that its kit was a part of a couple of systems that are currently holding all major records on Skylake platform.

To be honest, HWBOT.org list is filled with plenty of results and pretty much all Skylake platforms that are currently holding records are running with G.Skill's Ripjaws 4 DDR4 memory.
