AMD Radeon R9 Nano appears

Shipped to partners

According to a report from Iyd.kr AMD has started shipping its third "Fiji" graphics card. The model, which has not yet been shown in full glory is apparently the R9 Nano. The Nano is said to be the most powerful small-form-factor graphics card.

When AMD starts to ship products to their partner, then it's only a matter of time until full specifications and even entire review start to leak. So far there is nothing on the internet in that regard, but we're sure, that it's well possible that even today the first of such reports could be incoming.

The AMD Radeon R9 Nano is going to be the most powerful graphics card for mini-ITX systems and the pixel accelerator looks exactly like on AMD's renderings. Since the card is really small so is the cooler and it will be interesting to find out whether it's a noise one or not.

Apparently, since this card is based on "Fiji", there are 4096 stream processors, 256 texture units and 64 raster operations pipelines as well as a 4096 bit wide memory interface available. Apart from that also this card comes with 4GB of high-bandwidth memory (HBM), which runs at 1 GHz, offering a total of 512 GB/s memory bandwidth.

Unofficially the R9 Nano is supposed to clock at 830 MHz to 900 MHz and the TDP should be 175W. It will definitely be another interesting card from AMD and we're curious to learn what this thing can really do in games.
