According to a couple of reports, mostly originating from a single post by AMD representative, suggest that AMD Fiji GPU and thus the entire Radeon Fury series, including the R9 Nano, might lack support for HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.3.

While the comment made by AMDMatt over at Overclockers.co.uk is quite surprising, it was obvious that AMD is focused on DisplayPort standard rather than HDMI 2.0 and while this might not go well with users playing games on TVs or users looking to squeeze R9 Nano into an SFF case and use it as a living room system, it is not a big deal for gamers which usually use monitors, since there are no HDMI 2.0 monitor on the market as these are mostly focused on DisplayPort as well.

While it does not support DisplayPort 1.3 standard, which brings two 4K@60 screen support or 5K and 8K resolution support, support for DisplayPort 1.2a should be enough for most gamers as it allows 4K@60Hz, it is what AMD uses for FreeSync technology and it is pretty much what every virtual reality headset will use, which makes it good in that market segment as well.

On the other hand, there is still no official confirmation and we will have to wait for some official reviews or AMD's official statement to hear more about this issue.
