EVGA unveils the new GTX 980 Ti Classified Kingpin Edition

Massive like every year

Following Nvidia's official launch of the Geforce GTX 980 Ti graphics card based on the 28nm GM200 GPU, EVGA has unveiled the new versions of the GTX 980 Ti Kingpin Edition. Like after every launch of a new high-end GPU, the famous clocker Vince Kingpin Lucido shows the highest clocked version from EVGA.

The Classified Kingpin Edition uses a PCB heavily modded and larger than the reference model. Like the Strix introduced by ASUS, also the Classified uses a PCB wider and with a phase system improved. The card features 15-phases VRM able to manage up to a maximum of 600 amperes. The heatsink used by EVGA is made entirely of copper, with 8 mm heatpipes and two 100 mm fans.Unfortunately there are no details about the clocks but definitely will be high and very close to the cards already showed by other manufacturers.

Unfortunately, EVGA did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability dates.
