Mushkin Enhanced MFG, well known for its decent memory modules and SSDs has announced the expansion of its Reactor solid state drive series which will now be available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB capacities.

Based on Silicon Motion SM2246EN controller and standard 7mm thick 2.5-inch form-factor, the Reactor SSD series offers transfer sequential performance of up to 560MB/s read and 460MB/s write while 4K random performance is set at up to 74,000 IOPS read and 76,000 IOPS write.

The Mushkin Reactor SSD series offers TRIM support and is backed by a 3 year warranty. Previously only available in 1TB capacity, the Reactor SSD series will now be available in more affordable 512GB and 256GB capacities.

In order to celebrate the expansion of its Reactor SSD series, Mushkin has launched the Ghost Recon Phantoms Sweepstakes that started on May 1st and which will allow you to win a custom built Mushkin Extreme Gaming PC and much more.

Unfortunately, Mushkin did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date for the new 256GB and 512GB versions of the Reactor SSD.
