ZOTAC announces new fanless ZBox mini-PC

With Core i5, i3, Celeron or AMD APU

Zotac is definitely pushing hard with its Zbox mini-PC lineup. Today, they unveiled four new models, really small and completely fanless. We are talking about the new Zbox CI540 NANO, Zbox CI520 NANO, Zbox CI320 NANO and the Zbox CA320 NANO.

The new C Series Zbox NANO features four different models with forud different processors. We have a Core i5, a Core i3, a Celeron Bay Trail and an AMD A6 APU. Just like for any other Zbox, there will be a “Plus” version for each model, featuring 4GB of DDR3L memory and a 64GB SSD or a 500GB HDD for storage.

The lineup starts from the Zbox CI540 NANO, equipped with Intel's Core i5-4210Y dual-core CPU, clocked at 1.5/1.9GHz (Base and Turbo), Intel HD Graphics 4200, single DDR3L-1600 slot, SATA III and eSATA ports. The Zbox CI520 NANO features a Core i3-4020Y dual-core CPU, clocked at 1.5Ghz but lacking Turbo, while the rest of the specs are the same as the CI540. The Zbox CI320 features a quad-core Celeron N2930 Bay Trail CPU, clocked at 1.83/2.16GHz, single DDR3L-1333 slot, HD Graphics, SATA II and eSATA ports. Last but not the least, is the Zbox CA320 NANO, based on an AMD A6 1450 quad-core APU and clocked at 1/1.4GHz. This one also comes with support for DDR3-1600 memory, features Radeon HD 8260 GPU and has a SATA II port.

The whole lineup features the same design, but Intel models have four USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports, while the AMD model has two USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0. They all measures the same, 127x127x45mm, with a totally silent cooling system. They also feature HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, and an SD card reader on the front side.

As far as prices are concerned, the Zbox CI540 NANO will cost 339.90€, the CI520 will cost 249.90€, the CA320 will cost 189.90€ and the CI320 will cost 129.90€.
