Fractal introduces the Core X5 Series of PC cases

High flexiblity and embedded fan controller

Fractal introduced a brand new PC case series, the Core X5. The key word of this series of products is flexibility. The whole series features a removable HDD cage to ensure maximum internal space, and a platform for water cooling systems. The Core X5 Series features 4 different models.


First off, we start with the Core 3500 and 3500 Windowed, to show off your hardware. It features a few peculiarity that we usually see on high-end PC cases, suchs as great cable management with rubber grommets, support for any kind of CPU cooler, 2 or 3 (with the Windowed version) 140mm fans and a built-in 3 step fan controller. It can support up to two 240mm radiators, or a 280mm one, 4 HDD inside the cage and 2 more 2.5” drives behind the motherboard tray.




Just like its big brother, the Fractal Core 2500 ATX can fit a 240/280mm radiator, and it features 2 120mm pre-installed fans with a fan controller. Thanks to its great and clean design it's definitely going to be one of the most interesting models of this series of products. It can fit 4 drives in the HDD cage and one more 2.5” drive into the PSU position. Well designed cable routing and the clean look are definitely something you'll need if you want to create a great rig.


Last but not least, there's the Fractal Core 1500, a Micro ATX case. It features the same clean and neat look, thanks to the black aluminum and the stylish design. It comes with 2 pre-installed 120mm fans and a three-step fan controller, it can fit up to two 240mm radiators for exceptional cooling solutions. You can install up to 4 drives in the HDD cages, and one more 2.5” drive behind the PSU. Despite the reduced dimensions, it can fit CPU cooler as high as 162mm and 380mm long GPUs.


This new Fractal series of PC case is absolutely stunning, and it's well priced to. We start with 69.99 € for the 3500, and 79.99 € for the 3500 Windowed. The X5 2500 and the little 1500 will cost only 49.99€.
