Visiontek has announced that it will be expanding its liquid cooled CryoVenom R9 290 graphics card with a new Limited Edition model with the same liquid cooling.


Based on AMD's Hawaii Pro GPU and R9 290 graphics card design, the new CryoVenom R9 290 Limited Edition packs 2560 Stream Processors and comes with 4GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 512-bit memory interface. Since the CryoVenom is cooled by a full-cover water block, which should make it up to 38 percent cooler compared to reference cooled card, according to Visiontek, it will also have a slight factory overclock on both the GPU and memory, putting them at 1175MHz for the GPU and 1450MHz (5.8GHz effective) for the memory.

The new Visiontek CryoVenom R9 290LE also comes with a Battlefield 4 code and ships in a rather neat looking wooden crate. In order to celebrate the launch of the new CryoVenom R9 290LE, Visiontek will also offer a 5 percent discount on the new Limited Edition model as well as the original CryoVenom R9 290 model until May 1st.
