In case you missed it earlier, the Vertex 460 SSD is actually the first SSD launched under the new OCZ Storage Solutions company after the OCZ has been acquired by the Toshiba Group. The Vertex 460 SSD is designed as the evolution from the Vertex 450 and features OCZ's own in-house developed Barefoot 3 M10 controller paired up with Toshiba's 19nm MLC NAND flash memory.

The Vertex 460 offers up to 545MB/s of sequential read and up to 525MB/s of sequential write performance with up to 95,000 4K random and up to 90,000 4K random write IOPS. The sustained 4K random write performance is at up to 23,000 IOPS.
