Metadot launches Das Keyboard 4

Mechanical keyboards with CherryMX switches

Metadot is a Texas corporation who is well known for its clean and simple design keyboards which are assembled in Germany. Its latest version, Das Keyboard 4, sticks to well known design and now uses CherryMX switches.

The Das Keyboard 4 will be available in two versions, with CherryMX Blue switches for those looking for some additional and recognizable click noise as wel as CherryMX Brown switches for a more versatile use.

The new Das Keyboard 4 is a standard size keyboard with top made of aluminum for an improved durability. It also features a USB 3.0 hub with two ports on the back and media control buttons which are paired up with a knob for sound control.

The greatest feature of the Das Keyboard is an option to buy it without any printed letters, which means there are no QWERTY or AZERTY problems. The CherryMX Blue version of the Das Keyboard 4 will be available for US $169 while the CherryMX Brown version will sell for US $173.
