In addition to the preview of the 20nm Maxwell architecture, Nvidia will also demo its new Geforce driver during the Graphics Technology Conference 2014 (GTC 2014).


According to Nvidia and its recent previews, the new Geforce driver will improve DirectX 11 efficiency and optimize Geforce graphics cards specifically for the API in order to improve the performance to that level that certain GPUs in certain games will be faster than on AMD's Mantle API.

Of course, we are yet to see which specific gaming titles will be optimized by the new driver, what are the precise performance numbers as well as hear the precise date of the release for the new driver.
