G.Skill hosts OC World Cup 2014 overclocking contest

US $10,000 for the first place

G.Skill has now officially announced the new G.Skill OC World Cup 2014 overclocking contest which will run from 24th of March, with finals taking place during Computex.

The online qualifiers will be held at HWBOT site from 24th of March until 27th of April and include three categories, the highest memory frequency, SuperPI 32M and 3DMark Fire Strike. The top six online best scores from these three categories will be able to attend the OC World Cup 2014 live finals at Computex and have a chance to win the grand prize of US $10,000.

The second and third place at the finals will be able to take home some sweet G.Skill TridentX DDR3 16GB and 32GB kits.
