ASUS ROG GTX 780 Ti Matrix and R9 290X Matrix reviews

Are these the best ones on the market?

Teased earlier this month and officially launched yesterday, ASUS Republic of Gamers Matrix R9 290X and the GTX 780 Ti are designed solely for enthusiasts, overclockers and gamers in mind and custom PCB with custom cooling usually mean a much better graphics card. Is the plethora of other features on ASUS' new Matrix graphics card be enough to give it that much needed edge over competition?

Both of the new Matrix graphics cards were happily running in our lab and our reviewers were keen to show if these are the GTX 780 Ti and R9 290X versions that we have been waiting for quite some time. Packing some overclocking and enthusiast features like the VGA BIOS reset switch, LN2 mode, backplate, VGA hotwire, Memory Defrost, LED ROG logo which shows GPU load level and impressive custom PCB with ASUS' DIGI+ 14-phase VRM, certainly made both of these Matrix series graphics one of the most interesting ones we recently had on review.

Of course, the manufacturing and build quality which were on expected level from ASUS Republic of Gamers lineup as well as impressive factory overclocking made these two the fastest GTX 780 Ti and the fastest R9 290X graphics card that we have tested so far.
