Nvidia GTX 860M benchmarks leaked?

GPU-Z and 3DMark 11

We already know all the details regarding the GM107 GPU which can be found behind the GTX 750 and the GTX 750 Ti graphics cards and, according to the latest leak, the same chip might be behind the first 800M series notebook graphics card, the GTX 860M 2GB.

The leak comes from NotebookReview Forum and shows the GPU-Z screenshot as well as a few 3DMark 11 scores, which are compared to the GTX 660M.

As far as the specs go, the GTX 860M is based on the same GPU as the GTX 750 Ti. So your are looking at 640 CUDA cores, 40 TMUs, 16 ROPs and a 128-bit memory interface with 2GB of GDDR5 memory. While the GPU-Z obviously did not read the GPU clock correctly, the 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface was clocked at 5.0GHz.

According to the leaked benchmarks, the GTX 860M scores P5339 in 3DMark 11 Performance preset and X1662 in the Extreme preset, which is not bad compared to the GTX 660M. The main advantage of the GM107 is its low TDP, which is at 45W on this card.

Of course, all we need to see are some notebooks with the GTX 860M GPU and some proper full reviews that will show just how well it copes with current AMD mobile lineup as well as the previous Nvidia GTX 700M chips.
