DeepCool has announced a pair of new mid-range power supply units aimed at gaming PCs, the 700W DA700 and the 500W DA500-M.
Both PSUs feature 80Plus Bronze efficiency rating, partially modular connections with flat ribbon cables as well as either two or three PCI-Express power connectors, depending on the model.
Although the company did not reveal much info regarding the actual specs of these two new PSUs, other than they appear to be manufactured by CWT, judging from the pictures, we are looking at mid-range PSUs which will have enough cabling and power for mid-range PC gaming systems with two to three graphics cards, depending on the model.
The semi-modular design means that the 24-pin ATX and the 4+4-pin EPS connectors are fixed while the rest of the connections are modular. The good side of the story is that all cables are flat which should ease up the cable routing.
Unfortunately, there were no details regarding the price or the actual availability.
