AMD is slowly filling the gaps in its new Radeon R7- and R9-series graphics card lineup and recent addition to the the R7-series lineup, the R7 265, also brought the first price cut, pushing the R7 260X down from US $149 to US $119.
Since the US $139.99 priced R7 265 puts a lot of pressure on R7 260X, making it uncompetitive, AMD apparently decided to drop the price of the R7 260X down to US $119.99, providing a bit more breathing room between the R7 260X and the R9 270.
Of course, since there will be a lot of different models from various partners, MSRP might vary but dropping the price on some product is always a good news for consumers.
Here is the new R7-series MSRP list:
- R7 265 – 139.99
- R7 260X – 119.99
- R7 260 – 109.99
- R7 250X – 99.99
- R7 250 – 89.99
- R7 240 – 69.99
