Super Talent technology has now officially launched its new RAIDDrive II Plus PCI-Express based SSD which will bring read and write performance of up to 2600 and 3200MB/s.
The Super Talent RAIDDrive II Plus uses PCI-Express 2.0 x8 interface and feature 1GB of DDR2 cache with ECC. It is based on eight SATA SSDs paired up in a custom form factor and will be available in 480GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities and in RAID 0 or RAID 5 configurations.
The dimensions of the Super Talet RAIDDrive II Plus are set at 231.5x94x20.6mm and it also features redundant flash image adapter, system status indicator, an alarm buzzer, SMTP support and SNMP support for remote management.
Unfortunately, Super Talent did not shed any details regarding the precise availability date or the price.
