EK Water Blocks have announced its newest 5.25-inch drive bay pump/reservoir combo unit, the EK-BAY RES D5.

According to EKWB, the EK-BAY RES D5 is a high-performance hydraulically improved pump for D5 series water pumps with integrated reservoir. It takes up two 5.25-inch drive bays and since most 5.25-inch are now left unused, it sounds like a great way to deal with limited space constraints when it comes to water cooling.

The entire unit is made from a POM Acetal material in order, according to EKWB, to make it as rigid and reliable as possible. The new EK-BAY RES D5 is also quite simple and straight forward as it features single inlet- and out outlet port, filling ports at the top and features integrated anti-cyclone made from acrylic glass in order to prevent vortex formation when using the pump in low hydraulic restriction loops.

It also comes with anti-vibration rubber mounting system and will be available in two versions, with and without a pump. Both versions should be already available with price set at €84,95 and €148,95.
