The new flagship

Korean manufacturer LG has now officially confirmed that its newest flagship, the LG G Pro 2, will be unveiled at this years Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, scheduled to open its doors on February 24th.

According to the latest set of rumors, the LG G Pro 2 will feature a 6-inch 1920x1080 screen and powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 SoC paired up with 3GB of RAM. The aforementioned announcement does not include any details about the new flagship other than it will be unveiled at MWC 2014.

In case you missed it, at the last year Mobile World Congress LG revealed its LG Optimus G Pro flagship but has recently dropped the Optimus name, focusing its high-end offer on the G-branding.

LG already have the LG G2 and LG G Flex high-end smartphones in its offer and recent financial reports showed that these are not selling that well, at least not as well as LG hoped.

The Mobile World Congress 2014 will certainly be interesting and we will surely keep an eye on it.
