The newcomer to the gaming notebook and peripherals scene, AORUS, has quite surprised everyone when it has announced its newest "thinnest, lightest GTX SLI Gaming" notebook during CES 2014, the AORUS X7. At 22.9mm and 2.9kg, the new AORUS X7 is far from being the lightest or thinnest notebook on the market, but unlike most, it packs quite a punch with Intel's Core i7 CPU and two GTX 765M GPUs in SLI.
Based around a 17.3-inch 1920x1080 screen and powered by Intel's Core i7-4700HQ CPU clocked at 2.4GHz, the AORUS X7 is certainly a decent gaming system, especially thanks to dual Nvidia Geforce GTX 765M graphics cards running in SLI. The rest of the specifications include two mSATA SSDs and single 2.5-inch HDD, backlit keyboard with macros and scissor-type switches, Killer Ethernet, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 1.3M webcam, stereo speakers with dual subwoofers and five USB ports (three of them USB 3.0).
All in all, the AORUS certainly looks like a decent gaming notebook rig and hopefully we will see a review or two of it as well as some other impressive new products from AORUS. You can check more info on it via link below.
