EVGA launches the DisplayPort Hub

Simple way for multi-monitor setups

EVGA has officially launched its new EVGA DisplayPort Hub, a simple to use device for multi-monitor connectivity between a single DisplayPort source and up to three DisplayPort compatible monitors.

According to EVGA, the EVGA DisplayPort Hub is ideal for graphic design, video editing, 3D animation, CAD/CAM, spreadsheet analysis, and productivity without the need of an additional graphics card. It support plug-and-play feature, hot-plug compatible, compatible with all existing DisplayPort graphics cards and notebooks and supports DisplayPort 1.2a.

There are certain limitations. so the EVGA DisplayPort Hub supports resolutions from 2400x600, or three 800x600 resolution display all the way up to 5760x1080 or three 1920x1080 resolution screens, as it practically splits the single DisplayPort link to three outputs so in case you are looking for a multi-monitor setup with resolutions higher than 1920x1080, another graphics card or multiple outputs are still the best way to go.

More information about EVGA's DisplayPort Hub can be found via link below and it is already available at EVGA's webshop for US $79.99 with $20 mail-in rebate.
