Gigabyte's Tegra Note 7 tablet now official

Branding partner

Nvidia announced its Tegra Note 7 tablet back in September along with the list of regional partners that will carry it including the likes of Zotac, EVGA and XOLO and it appears that Gigabyte is the new name on that list.

Although with a slight delay, it appears that Gigabyte will also sell Nvidia's Tegra Note 7 tablet under its own branding and in case you missed it earlier, we are talking about Nvidia made 7-inch IPS 1280x800 screen tablet with Nvidia's Tegra 4 SoC and 1GB of RAM. Nvidia's Tegra Note 7 does pack some neat features including DirectStylus technology stylus as well as a 5-megapixel rear camera which differentiate it from the competition.

The low-res screen is justified by lower US $199 price, although, according to some earlier reviews, Nvidia simply cut too many corners.
