AMD rolls out Catalyst 13.11 Beta9.4 driver

Improved Crossfire for Call of Duty: Ghosts

AMD is definitely keeping the track with all the newly released games and its Catalyst graphics driver as it has just released the Beta version, the Catalyst 13.11 Beta9.4. The new driver should improve Crossfire scaling in the recently released Call of Duty: Ghosts game as well as fix some other issues seen in some other games.

In addition to Crossfire scaling performance improvement in Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer, the new Catalyst Beta9.4 driver also supposedly ("may", according to AMD) fixes the intermittent black screens or display loss observed on some Radeon R9 290X and R9 290 cards.

Those that are running some of the Radeon mobile GPUs will also be getting new Enduro profiles for XCOM: Enemy Unknown as well as the Need for Speed Rivals game.

The new driver is available for Windows 8.1, 8 and the Windows 7 OS and supports all the Radeon graphics cards since the HD 5000 series.
