Microsoft issued a statement reassuring users that the new Kinect will not take any informations without their clear consent.
After the Xbox One announcement, the presence of the Kinect has disappointed a lot of gamers.
The most discussed question was the privacy, considering that the new Kinect is always on and the gamers were scared for their privacy.
Today, Microsoft has released a statement in which it assures the community that the new Kinect can take info only if the user allow it, particularly in the privacy statement, it is written that "Except as described in this privacy statement, we won't disclose your personal information to a third party without your consent. This information is used for many purposes, including to help select and display targeted advertisements that we believe may be of interest to you. When we display online advertisements to you, we will place one or more persistent cookies on your computer in order to recognize your computer each time we display an ad to you." and "No audio chat is recorded in these game clips."
We hope that this privacy statement can reassure the people who want to buy the new Xbox One as the situation was quite grim for Microsoft.
