Enermax is definitely making quite a push in the liquid CPU cooler market as it has just announced the new LIQMAX 120S series that will be available in TAA and HP versions and features Enermax Shunt-Channel-Technology (SCT) technology, 3D extruded cold-plate structure and Smart APS fan technology.
As noted, the new Enermax LIQMAX 120S liquid CPU cooler series will be available in two versions, the TAA with patented blue circular LED lights on the fan and HP version that features high-pressure airflow fan. Both versions will feature the patented Enermax Shunt-Channel-Technology (SCT) in order to achieve better thermal conductivity, as well as the 3D Extruded cold-plate structure that should provide faster heat conductivity, better distribution of the coolant and maximized utilization rate, according to Enermax.
Both versions will also feature APS control on their fans that feature 3 PWM variable modes, silent, performance and overclock mode as well as a ceramic bearing for longer life span.
The new LIQMAX 120S series will support Intel LGA 775/1150/1155/1156/1366/2011 and AMD AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1/FM2 sockets and should be available on retail/e-tail shelves in mid-November.
Unfortunately, Enermax did not shed any light regarding the price.
