Bitspower working on Maximus VI Impact water block

Full cover block for ROG Mini-ITX motherboard

It was just a matter of time before Bitspower decided to update its motherboard water block lineup with the one that fits on Asus' latest Republic of Gamers mini-ITX motherboard, the Z87 Maximus VI Impact.

Thanks to a picture-post over at Facebook we now know how it will cover both the CPU as well as the angled VRM part of the Maximus VI Impact motherboard. Although we still have to see an official release from Bitspower, it is clear that the AIZ87M6IITX water block willl feature the same semi-transparent black acrylic top (ICE Black) and will most likely also be available with a transparent acrylic top (Clear) version as well. The base is most likely nickel-plated copper and it is pretty much the same concept that we had a chance to see on the Bitspower AIZ77ITXD for P8Z77-I Deluxe motherboard.

In case you missed it earlier, Bitspower water blocks for mini-ITX motherboard feature Unibody Style Construction design which means it is a single block that covers the CPU, chipset and the vertical VRM part.
