Asus has announced the new Geforce GTX 760 DirectCU Mini, model GTX760-DCMOC-2GD5, that will feature the same design seen on the GTX 670 DirectCU Mini launched earlier this year in April.

Based on a full-height, 17cm long PCB aimed for small LAN-party PCs or HTPCs, the new GTX 760 DirectCU Mini features a 5-phase VRM with single 8-pin PCI-Express power connector and a vapor-chamber plate cooler with aluminum fin heatsink. The fan on the cooler combines lateral- and top-airflow blades that should keep the entire card well cooled.

Since it is based on quite a small PCB, Asus decided to stick to Nvidia-reference clocks of 980MHz core, 1033MHz GPU Boost and 2GB of 6.0GHz clocked memory paired up with 256-bit memory interface. In case you missed it earlier, the GTX 760 features GK104 GPU with 1152 CUDA cores, 96 TMUs and 32 ROPs.

Unfortunately, Asus did not shed any details regarding the actual price or the precise release date of the new GTX 760 DirectCU Mini but you can expect it to show up in retail/e-tail pretty soon with a price of around US $299.
