Some of you guys might be asking, what the ... Hello Kitty? Hardware? Well, from time to time there has to be some funny stuff in the news and since we think this is quite funny, we don't hold back with it. Toshiba officially announces their Hello Kitty SD cards.
In mid September, when the back to school time reaches prime time, Toshiba is making SDHC memory cards with Hello Kitty design available. These memory cards come from a cooperation with a popular character called Sanrio. Obvisouly, we honestly haven't even heard of him. When it comes to specs, the card should be able to deliver 10 Megabyte per second sequential throughput, which makes it a "Class 10" product. In the future Toshiba wants to launch an entire line-up of different Hello Kitty themed SD cards.
