G.Skill announces Ripjaws SO-DIMM series

For 3rd and 4th gen Intel CPUs

G.Skill has announced the new line of DDR3 SO-DIMM modules and kits ranging from 1600MHz to 1800MHz and up to 16GB that will carry the recognizable Ripjaws brand title and thus feature highly selected components in order to ensure maximum stability, performance and quality.

As noted, the new Ripjaws DDR3 SO-DIMM line of modules and kits will be compatible with notebooks and PCs featuring Intel 3rd and 4th generation Core CPUs that support 1.35V DDR3 SO-DIMM memory and be available in 4 or 8GB modules and dual-channel kits of up to 16GB. The new Ripjaws DDR3 SO-DIMM line will work at either 1600MHz with 9-9-9-28 latencies or 1866MHz at 10-10-10-32 latencies, all at 1.35V.

The entire G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 SO-DIMM line is backed by a lifetime warranty, but the precise price or the availability date have not been detailed.
