AMD reveals addition details on FX-9000 series

Clocks confirmed, TDP as well

According to a report over at The Tech Report, that refer to an unnamed AMD source, it appears that AMD's upcoming FX-9000 series will initially be indeed limited to system integrators but that AMD is currently considering all other options in order to bring to retail.

The good side of the story is that The Tech Report managed to confirm the precise clocks of both parts so the FX-9370 will work at base clock of 4.4GHz and Turbo up to 4.7GHz while the new flagship FX-9590 will work at base clock of 4.7GHz and Turbo up to 5.0GHz.

Unfortunately, the report also confirms the worst fears as it appears that the rumored 220W TDP is true which might be the biggest problem to bring it to retail due to the fact that retail boxed version should be bundled with a rather "advanced cooling solution".

Of course, we will surely keep an eye out on these two CPUs and as report back as soon as we hear more.
