It looks like EVGA is going to sell a new high-end gaming notebook. The company has just launched the so called SC17 Gaming Notebook, which comes with a 17 inch, UHD screen with IPS panel. Apart from that the rest of the specs are pretty interesting as well.
Featuring a UHD display and an IPS panel, which on top of that even supports NVIDIA G-SYNC make for a rather compelling combination and allows for smooth gaming. Diving into the specifications a little bit deeper we find a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 mobile GPU with 8GB of GDDR5 memory. There is also an Intel Core i7-6820HK unlocked CPU, 32GB of G.Skill 2666MHz memory, a 256GB NVMe PCI-e SSD and a 1TB SATA HDD.
Looking at the exterior there is an aluminum unibody giving this notebook sleek looks and making it 1.07 inches (2.72 centimeters) thin. Looking for the connectivity options we can see two USB3.0 Type-A port, one USB3.1 Type-C port and mini-Jack headphone out.
So far there is also not information on the price. When the predecessor of this SKU was launched it hit the shelves at 3199 Euro, which definitely put this notebook in the high-price bracket.
