Gigabyte shows AX-370-Gaming K7 motherboard

Another high-end model

During CES 2017 and the first Webinar Gigabyte has shown four upcoming AM4 motherboards. A few days ago Gigabyte has shown more pictures regarding their GA-AX370-Gaming K7 motherboard. Since this board has been equipped with an armada of features it’s going to be an upcoming high-end model.

Judging by the screw holes this is an ATX form factor based motherboard. The color scheme is the same we can find on Z270 based models from Gigabyte, which in this case is a black PCB with dark silver heatsink and there is a big black I/O cover. Furthermore there are several RGB LEDs which allow to change the color of your motherboard.

There are three steel reinforced PCIe Gen 3.0 slots and between the first and the second full-sized PCIe slot there are two slots distance providing plenty of space for graphics cards to breathe in the case of multi-GPU setups. Furthermore there is one M.2 slot between the first and the second PCIe slot, which is compatible with 110 millimeters M.2 SSDs.

In addition there are two SATA ports, two SATA Express ports and a U.2 connector. Since this is a model also overclockers could have a look at, there are onboard buttons and a debug display. Going a step further we find a Killer LAN E2500 chip, Gigabyte’s AMP-UP Audio solution and the so called Fusion RGB lighting, which can be controlled from within Windows.

On the back we find a PS/2 port, eight USB 3.0 ports, two USB 3.1 ports (one Type-C and one Type-A) and in the end also two LAN ports. In addition there is a HDMI port for AMD APU series.
