ASUS has announced its newest 17.3-inch gaming notebook that will carry the Republic of Gamers badge and come with Intel Core i7 Skylake CPU, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 GPU and 17.3-inch 120Hz screen with Nvidia G-Sync support, the ASUS ROG G701VI.
The entire notebook is built around a 17.3-inch LED-backlit FHD (1920x1080) 120Hz screen with anti-glare panel and Nvidia G-Sync support. The heart of the new ASUS ROG G701VI is a choice between an overclockable Intel Core i7-6820HK or a Core i7-6700HQ CPU, up to 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory and Nvidia's Geforce GTX 1080 with 8GB of GDDR5X memory.
The new ASUS ROG G701VI is not as slim as some other new gaming notebooks on the market but it certainly packs a lot more punch. The rest of the specifications include 512GB of PCIe SSD storage, plenty of USB connectors including USB 3.1 Type-A and Type-C, Gigabit Ethernet, Thunderbolt port, HDMI output and more.
As you can see the big part of the cooling system is located at the back and it uses new ASUS ROG Bio-Armor design with ROG Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper color scheme.
The new ASUS ROG G701VI notebook should be available soon with a price US $3,000 with high-end Core i7-6820HK CPU.
