Our very own MIFCOM OCAHOLIC OC team got some rather nice overclocking scores over the weekend with three GTX 1080 graphics cards, scoring first place in 3DMark Fire Strike and second place in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme benchmarks on HWBOT.org.
Mike "racoon" Buchroither and Marc "rewarder" Büchel had a live overclocking session over the weekend where they managed to overclock three GTX 1080 graphics cards on LN2 to a decent 2164MHz. This was enough for 41248 marks in 3DMark Fire Strike benchmark which is currently the first place on HWBOT.org global ranking and 28394 marks in Fire Strike Extreme benchmark, which was enough for the second place.
The rest of the system included ASUS Rampage V Extreme motherboard, Intel's Core i7-6950X Broadwell-E CPU overclocked to 5100MHz on LN2 and 32GB of ZADAK511 Shield DDR4 memory. The entire system was powered by Seasonic's 1200W Platinum PSU.
Special thanks go to MIFCOM, Seasonic, Kingpin Cooling and all other that helped our team to beat three Titan X graphics cards in 3DMark Fire Strike.
