AMD has published some of the first details regarding the upcoming three new desktop systems from Alienware that will feature AMD Radeon graphics cards, the Aurora, Area 51 and Alpha R2.
The new Alienware Aurora is based on a somewhat standard tower design, with recognizable Alienware elements. It will be available with two Radeon RX 480 graphics cards in Crossfire, which should, according to AMD, provide VR Ready capable system and "beyond HD AAA gaming", whatever that means.
For those looking for a somewhat different looking system, Alienware has the flagship Area 51 PC system that can be equipped with up to three Radeon RX 480 graphics cards, all packed in a unique looking triangular-shaped Alienware PC case.
The last in the line that will be getting AMD Polaris graphics cards is the living-room friendly Alienware Alpha R2, which will be equipped with Radeon R9 M470X graphics card.
AMD also shed some light on the availability and notes that the Aurora with Radeon RX 480 should be already available in Europe with other regions getting it soon, while Area 51 with triple RX 480 graphics is coming soon.
The Alienware Alpha R2 with Radeon R9 M470X is already available worldwide.
