During last weekend, Ocaholic has held an OC event and were host to a our Italian overclockers Naruto80, Pixy and Rule, as well as Racoon from Switzerland and two good friends from MIFCOM.
While the Italian overclockers focused on Intel's Z170 platform, Swiss Racoon was working hardoverclocking a Core i7-6950X on Intel's X99 platform.
Rule from Italy managed to score 16th place on GPU Pi 1B benchmark, while Naruto80 and Pixy were testing their Core i3-6320 CPU in combination with memory.
Racoon also came up with a couple of good scores on its Core i7-6950X and Geforce GTX 1080, including
3DMark Fire Strike,
Fire Strike Extreme as well as a
wPrime 32m submission with a Core i7-6700K CPU.
While we did not see any world records broken during the event, overclockers were able to share experiences and knowledge and get some good advice from veteran overclocker Splmann.
Hopefully, we will be able to host more of these OC events and turn it into a tradition with plenty more overclockers.
Thanks a lot to all the guys who attended and made this a great event. We're very much looking forward to hosting more Overclocking Sessions in future and it would be great to see new faces as well.
