We have already heard that AMD AIB partners might get a green light in making custom RX 480 from day one, so it does not come as a surprise that we now have a chance to check out Sapphire's RX 480 8GB Nitro graphics card.
There were a couple of rumors that AMD AIB partners might make custom Radeon RX 480 from day one and today we have a picture of the first one that has leaked online, the Sapphire RX 480 Nitro. Packing 8GB of GDDR5 memory and Sapphire's own custom dual-fan cooler with LED Sapphire logo, which should change color depending on the fan speed, GPU temperature or a custom profile set by user.
Spotted by Videocardz.com, the Sapphire RX 480 Nitro keep the short PCB while the cooler extends further in order to pull enough air and push it across the entire graphics card.
We suspect that the Sapphire RX 480 Nitro won't come with a crazy high factory-overclock since Sapphire has decided to keep the single 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors.
Hopefully, we will hear more about the RX 480 later today when AMD is expected to host PC Gaming Show at E3 2016.
