In addition to the Z170-based MPower Gaming Titanium motherboard, MSI also unveiled its newest high-end XPower Gaming Titanium Edition motherboard based on Intel's X99 chipset, the X99A XPower Gaming Titanium.
Having a higher-end feature set, the new X99A XPower Gaming Titanium motherboard uses MSI's Patented Turbo CPU socket with 2036 pins which should bring a much better CPU and memory overclocking on Intel's X99 platform.
It also has plenty of other high-end features like MSI Steel Armor on all five PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots as well as all eight DDR4 memory slots and Turbo M.2 port, Ti Chokes, Mystic Light Extension, Dual BIOS, USB 3.1 (Type-A and Type-C) ports, Audio Boost 3 and more.
The X99A XPower Gaming Titanium also comes with MSI's DDR4 Boost feature which will allow support for DDR4-3466 memory, six SATA 6Gbps, single 32Gbps M.2, single 32Gbps U.2 and single SATA-Express port for storage, Intel Gigabit Ethernet and integrated Intel 802.11ac WiFi.
The new X99A XPower Gaming Titanium motherboard comes with the same white Titanium front heatsink and I/O cover as well as Titanium armored backplate, which provides both protection and strengthens the motherboard so it can be used with the heaviest graphics cards and CPU coolers.
Unfortunately, MSI did not reveal any details regarding the price or the precise availability date.
