Presenting Project Redox by August

Based on In Win D-Frame PC case

Today, we will be checking out the progress of yet another mod at our Forum, the Redox by August.

It has been a while since we have seen any update regarding the Project Redox since August was busy with Vintage Reborn mod for Dreamhack Casemod Championship but the project has been updated and we must say it looks really impressive.

Although not yet fully done, August managed to line up most of the components and give them that rusty touch the whole mod is about. The In Win D-Frame case has been earlier rusted up and now it all comes together.

In case you missed it earlier, the project is based on the car-term Rat-Rod, and this means that we are looking at a steam puno rat-rod design which certainly takes a lot of effort.

The mod is based on Gigabyte's GA-X99-UD3 motherboard with Intel Core i7-5820K CPU and two Geforce GTX 970 graphics cards, all powered by be quiet! PowerZone 850W PSU. August has also added 32GB of DDR4-2133 paired up with OCZ Reaper heatsinks which were rusted up as well as two Intel SSDs with a custom mod.

The last piece of the puzzle is the liquid cooling system which comes from EK Water Blocks and it appears that those components will also get the same look.

These are just a few pictures from the project while you can find the rest, including the complete worklog via link below.
