Microsoft delays Windows 10 Redstone update

Once again

According to the latest report, Microsoft will delayed its upcoming Windows 10 Redstone update for Spring next year.

Although expected to launch in the summer and be one of the first major updates for Microsoft's new Windows 10 OS, the update has been pushed back to early next year.

According to a report from ZDNet, citing sources close to Microsoft, Microsoft has decided to delay the update in order to prepare for new devices that will launch at CES 2017 show.

Earlier, Microsoft revealed its plans to have two to three big updates for Windows 10 OS every year. Last year, the RTM version was followed by Threshold and it was expected that Microsoft will release Redstone 1 update in June and Redstone 2 update in November, but now it appears that Redstone 2 update will wait for new devices.

This news also suggest that Microsoft's new Surface devices wont be coming before Spring next year and we might even see a new line of products from Microsoft at CES 2017 show in January next year.
