AMD Radeon 400 series could come in April

Only in mobile

According to the newest leak from Lenovo, it appears that AMD's Radeon 400 series might become available as early as April, but only in mobile.

Lenovo has announced its full lineup of new Windows 10 Yoga notebooks and tablets for 2016 which included Radeon 400 series mobile graphics cards.

The Lenovo 15-inch and 14-inch Yoga 510 notebooks have been spotted with a rather interesting GPU options, AMD Radeon 400 series R7 M460 and the R5 M430. Unfortunately, it is still not clear if these will be based on newer architecture or just a rebrand of earlier chips as there are still no details regarding these GPUs.

Recently, AMD's Radeon 400 series GPUs which bear the Weston and Banks codenames have been spotted on Zauba and these just might be these two new chips which should start shipping in April.

We are still eagerly awaiting more details regarding AMD's Polaris GPU architecture based desktop graphics cards and AMD has promised that we could get more info during GDC 2016 show next month.
