Dinos22 hits 6000MHz on Core i7-5960X Haswell-E CPU

New overclocking record pushes Australia to the top

A well known overclocker Dinos22, which works for Gigabyte, has hit 6000MHz on its Core i7-5960X Haswell-E, breaking both the XTU World Record as well as pushing Australia to the top, ahead of Germany and France.

The new overclocking record was done on Gigabyte's X99-SOC Champion motherboard and Intel Core i7-5960X Haswell-E CPU which was overclocked to 6000MHz under a lot of LN2. The rest of the system includes a quad-channel 16GB DDR4 kit overclocked to DDR4-3006 with CL 12-14-15-15 latencies.

The result in XTU Benchmark was set at 3126 Points, which is 15 points ahead of Dancop from Germany and 58 points ahead of Wizerty from France.

This is definitely a worthy overclocking feat and we certainly hope that Dinos22 will be able to push its Core i7-5960X Haswell-E CPU even further, giving us yet another great overclocking record.
