Oculus Rift to come bundled with EVE: Valkyrie game

Virtual reality spaceship shooter

Oculus VR has announced that that EVE: Valkyrie game will be bundled with Oculus Rift CV1 headset at launch next year.

Both Oculus VR and CCPGames, a developer of the upcoming EVE: Valkyrie multiplayer spaceship shooter set in EVE Online universe, have announced that that the game will be bundled with the Oculus Rift VR headset at launch.

According to earlier details, the EVE: Valkyrie game is mostly a multiplayer game, although it will feature some sort of singleplayer action, that will put you in the cockpit of a spaceship and let you fight both against and alongside other players. The best thing about EVE: Valkyrie is that the game was developed for virtual reality and will probably be one of the best VR titles when Oculus Rift launches.

As far as Oculus Rift is concerned, we still do not have a precise launch date or the precise price. Previously, Oculus VR said that the headset is coming in Q1 2016 and that it will be priced north of US $350, so anything is possible. We are quite sure that Oculus VR will announce more details during CES 2016 show which kicks off in January 2016.

Bundling EVE: Valkyrie with Oculus VR will certainly help as it looks like the best VR game, at least so far.
