We have been hearing plenty of rumors regarding a possible successor of the plastic iPhone 5C since March this year and while we have not seen the iPhone 6c, the latest rumor suggest that it might launch as the iPhone 7c in September 2016.

The latest info comes from Foxconn, one of the major Apple suppliers and could offer eager buyers a cheaper iPhone as wel as build up the hype for the official announcement of the iPhone 7. While the source did not reveal any details on the specifications, it did suggest that the iPhone 7c could end up with a price of anywhere between US $400 to $500.

Of course, this is still just a rumor so take it with a grain of salt and since we are still far away from September, we will probably hear a lot more as the next year kicks off.
